Phi Beta Sigma is one of the oldest historically Black fraternities in the country, founded at Howard University in 1914. The fraternity now serves more than 200,000 lifetime members across nearly 600 chapters worldwide.
This fraternity website redesign had to solve a straightforward but common problem: too much unused white space, not enough visual weight to hold visitor attention, slow load times, and broken links in the main navigation.
Built on WordPress and Elementor with a cleaner, more modern layout built around brand colors and photography, the rebuild included a new wireframe for more intuitive navigation and updated infographics matched to the new visual system. The site links out to “The BluPrint,” the fraternity’s proprietary chapter management portal.
The fraternity’s WordPress and Elementor site loads faster, navigates more intuitively, and gives the organization a visual presence that matches its scale and history.
